Richard Harris

Richard G. Harris is CEO of Momentum, which provides Investor and External Communications, Strategy and Placement Agent Services to Private Equity Funds, Investment Banking, Early Stage and Non-Profit enterprises.

Momentum acts as a Strategic Counsel to its clients and empowers them with exceptional communications and capital-raising capabilities including Private Placement Memoranda, Offering Circulars, Business Plans, Communications, Public and Media Relations initiatives, deal and capital sourcing. Clients of the Firm have included Polaris Venture Partners, Linea Capital, FTL Solar, Guide Ventures, Growthink, Gujarat Venture Finance Limited (India), Liberty Power and Roundtable Entertainment.

Prior to founding Momentum, Richard was Director of Business Development for McRoberts Mitchell, an award winning NYC Design and Communications agency. Richard has also served as a Speechwriter, Public Policy and Communications aide on more than twenty political campaigns and to numerous public officials, including U.S. Senator Slade Gorton and Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani (NYC). From 1995-1996, Richard served in the Giuliani Administration as the Director of the New York City Commission on Human Rights.

Richard is a current or former board member of many public policy and public service organizations, including The Center for Security Policy, The Alumni Association of the Alpha Delta Phi (Columbia University Chapter), and the Seattle Police Foundation.
