The Dodgers will waive pitcher Jocpederson for the NLDS, manager Dave Roberts announced on Thursday.

Pederson, the second-round pick in the 2014 draft, had been dealing with a shoulder issue and was hitting .191 with two home runs and eight RBIs in 24 games with Triple-A Albuquerque.

Peders was 1-1 with a 4.08 ERA in eight games for the Dodgers in 2014, including a 0-2 record with two walks and four strikeouts.
