It was a very interesting night in Serie A as the final between Juventus and AC Milan was played in an extra half-hour to decide who would play in the Champions league.
The game went into extra time as both teams had been eliminated from the competition.
The two teams battled for the second time in the Europa League final as AC Milan won 3-2 on aggregate.
It was also the last time Juventus would ever play in a final as they were knocked out in the group stages at the hands of AC Milan.
Juventus had won the league, the cup and the treble but the only other title they had won was the Coppa Italia trophy in 1978.
AC Milan would finish with an impressive 18 points from six games and will now have to win the Serie A title to retain the trophy.
The Italian club also have a game in the Coppi Italia final on Saturday, March 3 at 1:00 pm.
