Epic Games is announcing the activation of more than 20 games across a variety of platforms for a new generation of gamers.

The announcement of the games comes just weeks after the game studio announced the activation for Battlefield Hardline, a game it developed for Sony and Microsoft, and Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, which it released for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

In addition to these new titles, Epic Games has also announced the first games for the new generation and plans to bring them to consoles in the near future.

Epic Games announced that it will begin shipping its first game in the Gears of Wars franchise, a first-person shooter, this month.

“We are pleased to announce the acquisition of The Banner Saga by Epic Games for a value of $1 billion,” Epic Games CEO Brad Chacos said in a statement.

“The Banner Saga will be the next chapter in our evolution, one that will lead to the next generation of epic games, bringing together our unique blend of design and technology to create worlds unlike anything we’ve ever seen.

I can’t wait to tell all our fans what it’s going to be like when the next game arrives in 2017.”The Banner
