reminded us of qualities needed to win a tough boxing match. Hyping a charity event that
pitted fire house chefs against the chefs of the neighborhood’s finest restaurants in head-to-head cook-offs—in the style of an epic match—was the perfect way to excite crowds to buy tickets that benefited the community. The bold graphic style and experimental type treatment is reminiscent of early 20th century poster design and translated perfectly to the modern advertising mediums of print, web, billboard and subway.
